Celebrating Spring and
The Coronation

Spring is an amazing time of the year for photographs. Everything is reborn and Summer is just around the corner.

Add in the Coronation and it’s certainly being a Spring to remember

We have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and we really hope you’ll grab your camera or smart phone and give it a go.

Photographs can be any format and be Black and White or Colour.

Even though a few Daffs in the garden can make a great photograph, it would be wonderful to see some imaginative and challenging photos that really show off the season to it’s best.

We would ask that all pictures submitted are new, not published, not previously used in photographic competitions and haven’t been made commercially available.

Under 16's Special Prize

We really want to encourage young photographers to take part in our competitions and have created two special prizes of £20 Amazon Gift vouchers for the best pictures taken by people under 17.

As with all entries we hope people will be as imaginative as possible. We are not looking for technical excellence just a good eye or a wonderfully captured moment. Photos can be taken on mobile phones or cameras.

We need your details

Please Note. We need you to provide a bit of information – mainly your Full name, where the picture was taken, the date and rough time and what type of equipment was used.

You do not need to have great camera gear for a compelling photograph.

We would also like a brief description and to know what caught your eye for the particular shot.

Combined Spring and Coronation

We are combining The Coronation into our Spring Competition.

We would ask that all pictures submitted are new, not published, not previously used in photographic competitions and haven’t been made commercially available.

We will be showcasing all entries on the Gallery page which you can see by clicking the link opposite.

As we near the judging stage these will be sorted into separate galleries

How to Enter

You can enter up to four photographs on the theme of Spring and (or) the Coronation.

Ideally we would like you to challenge yourself if you can and to be as imaginative as possible. Maybe look for an interesting angle, unusual backgrounds or different ways of telling a story.

Small Print

Whilst there is no law preventing people from taking photographs in public, if you are taking photographs from private land, you need to have the land owner’s permission. Taking a photo of a person where they can expect privacy, such as inside their home or garden, is likely to cause a breach of privacy laws.

All photographers should obtain the  necessary permissions before submitting the photograph
