Where to go for that Special Occasion Meal around Oxfordshire

Recently a poll in I Love Witney asked the question: ‘Where is your favourite place for a special occasion meal within 10 miles of Witney?’
We also asked a similar question in various other Oxfordshire groups, including I Love Oxfordshire.
Whilst many Witney’ites clearly like to stay local for their special occasions we found that in the Oxfordshire groups many are prepared to travel a little further. I Love Oxfordshire favourite food places included: La Manoir Aux Quat Saisons, Quod, Pierre Victoire, The Hare at Milton under Wychwood and La Cucina.
The overwhelming winner of where to go for a Special Occasion meal within 10 miles of Witney is, drum roll please, The HollyBush with a close second being it’s sister pub The Horseshoes.
