Witney’s Tilly Valentine launches new CD

Witney's Tilly releases 5 track EP

British artist, Tilly Valentine, started 2021 with a bang with her empowering single ‘Calendar Girl’. Since then, the independent artist has been described as “the type of quirky you can pair with a coffee or a party”, as her self-releases gain BBC broadcast across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, 6 Music, The Hot List, New Music Friday and more.

Calendar Girl earned its spot on New Music Friday as well as broadcasts across BBC Radio 6 Music.
Tilly was born and raised in Oxfordshire and moved to London aged 16 to attend The BRIT School where her journey began.

Her tracks have soothed the ears of many tastemakers including Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Nick Grimshaw, alongside Jamz Supernova who premiered her debut on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Awarded “Best Music Video” by Music Republic Magazine for her debut self-directed music video, Valentine has accumulated over a million streams across the board. BBC Radio 6’s Shaun Keaveny champions her “beautiful pop music”, as well as Supernova who broadcast her EP tracks across 30 countries.

Further collaborations with producer edbl on their co-written love songs charted in Supernova’s Top 5 EP list and have collectively gained over a million streams.

Tilly has now released an EP featuring 5 tracks which is available online as well as in Rapture Records in Witney.

“With winter drawing in, I’ve put together a collection of my favourite soulful/r&b, jazzy songs to see you through the cold nights”
