Fiery Rum, Ginger and Lime
Fiery Rum Punch
Ingredients
50g Grated Ginger
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
350ml Dark Rum
Juice of 4 Limes
1 Ltr of Ginger beer or Ginger Ale
Lime Slices
Method
Gently heat the ginger, lime juice, rum and sugar together until the sugar has dissolved, (do not overheat)
After Sugar has dissolved leave to stand for 10 minutes to cool and absorb flavours.
Half fill a large jug with ice. Strain the mixture into the jug, giving the grated ginger an extra good squeeze.
Top up with a litre of Ginger ale or Ginger beer.
Add lime slices and serve.
