Classic Margarita
...and some not so classic twists
The Negroni is often considered to be one of the world’s classic cocktails. It’s true origins are uncertain however rumour has it that it was invented in a bar in Florence, Italy where Count Negroni ordered the bartender to make a stronger Americano by adding gin instead of soda water.
Usually consisting of equal measures of just three ingredients gin, sweet red vermouth, and Campari.
Classic Negroni
Ingredients
25 ml Campari
25 ml Gin
25 ml Martini Ross
Orange Peel to Garnish
Method
Pour the Campari, Gin and Martini over ice into a rocks glass* or tumbler.
Garnish with orange peel or Orange Slice
Best Ever Negroni
Slightly less sweet
Ingredients
50 ml Gin
25 ml Campari
25 ml Martini Ross
3 drops Angostura bitters
Orange Peel to Garnish
Method
Pour the Campari, Gin and Martini over ice into a rocks glass* or tumbler.
Add a few drops of Bitters and stir
Garnish with orange peel or Orange Slice
